The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) by the FCC is a federal government initiative dedicated to providing connectivity to low-income Americans. To get connected, eligible households can simply answer a few questions and submit their eligibility documents.
To qualify for the ACP benefit, your household income should be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. You may also enroll if you qualify for the Lifeline program or as a Federal Pell Grant recipient. If you meet the requirements for the ACP benefit but not the Lifeline program, you can still sign up for the ACP benefit independently. Please note that the program is limited to one ACP benefit per household.
Qualifying programs include all Lifeline programs, as well as the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), National School Lunch Program, and Federal Pell Grant.
